Samantha Ramirez Crowned Queen of the Bay 2025 Designate

Stann Creek Central’s Samantha Ramirez was crowned the 80th Queen Designate at the Queen of the Bay Pageant held on Saturday evening at the Belize City Civic Centre. Ramirez impressed judges with her talent and stage presence and earned the coveted crown among seven other young ladies.

Sasha Lopez of Stann Creek West was named the first runner-up, while Alyssa Bell of San Ignacio/Santa Elena was named the second runner-up.

Ramirez will officially succeed outgoing Queen Deanni Laing on September 10 in Belize City.

In a statement, the organisers said, “We extend heartfelt congratulations to our outstanding delegates for their grace, elegance, and dedication… Your journeys have inspired us all, and we celebrate each of you for proudly representing your communities with dignity and pride.”

Ramirez also secured awards for Best Sashing Ceremony Outfit, Best Courtesy and Best Costume.

Other special awards went to Lopez for Miss Photogenic, the Emma Boiton Award and Best Dressed. Bell was awarded Most Eloquent, while Joselin Cawich of Corozal took Miss Amity.
