Sanchez Family Loses Home in Fire

A tragic fire yesterday afternoon left Rodolfo Sanchez and his family without a home after lightning struck their house in the Stann Creek Valley.

A photo from the scene shows the wooden structure completely engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky as the blaze consumed the residence. By the time help arrived, little could be done to save the building.

Fortunately, no one was inside at the time, and there were no injuries reported. However, the family lost all their belongings in the fire.

Relatives say any assistance, whether clothing, food, or building materials, would be greatly appreciated as the Sanchez family begins the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
