She’s Been Found Safe! 

Police have confirmed that 13-year-old Ana Ramos, who was reported missing since last Friday, has been located in northern Belize.

In a brief statement issued this afternoon, police said, “In regard to missing person Ana Ramos, be informed that she was located in northern Belize. Police investigation continues into this case.”

We are told that she was found safe. 

Ramos is a first-form student at Belmopan Baptist High School and was last seen on Friday after leaving for school. Her family reported her missing over the weekend after she failed to return home.

Her mother had previously told News 5 that surveillance footage showed the teenager boarding a bus at the Belmopan bus terminal. 

The teen’s mother, Ingrid Ávila, told us that the family is on the way to the Corozal police station. She said police will provide more details when the family arrives at the station.
