Shot Dead on Antelope Street

Alex Mirand was gunned down on Sunday in the Antelope Street area of Belize City. Police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Miranda’s lifeless body. He had been shot multiple times.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Miranda was walking in the area when he was followed by a male suspect who opened fire. Miranda attempted to flee but was pursued and fatally shot in a nearby yard.

Police say they are actively seeking one suspect in connection with the murder. While the motive remains unclear, investigators are following several leads. Officers have conducted multiple interviews in the area, but no surveillance footage is available, as the incident occurred in the London Bridge area, which lacks security cameras.
