A Saturday afternoon crash at mile 16 on the Phillip Goldson Highway left four people injured, including two siblings and a three-year-old girl.

Around 3:00 PM, a maroon GMC Terrain slammed into a tree after the driver, 25-year-old Tamron Brooks, reportedly lost control while navigating a curve. Police arrived to find the vehicle heavily damaged and its occupants injured.

Tamron suffered knee wounds, while his sister, 20-year-old Tamia Brooks, had a deep facial cut and leg pain. Their relative, 44-year-old Riva Ellis, reported back pain. Her granddaughter, Keanie Betancourt, sustained a forehead laceration and a suspected broken arm.  All victims were transported to KHMH.
