Single Mother Wins $20,000 on Scratch and Win

A Belize City single mother of two is celebrating a $20,000 Scratch and Win win this Valentine’s weekend. The 42-year-old said she buys tickets almost every night, sometimes spending up to $100.

“Last night I went to the store to buy my scratch. I spend fifty or a hundred dollars every night. And when I went home, I scratched my Scratch after ten, and I realised that I was a winner. And this morning I hugged my son, and he told me congratulations for what I have done. And that was my blessing for me,” she said.

“My plan is to build up a house and extend in my business,” she added.
