Stake Bank Dispute Goes International as Feinsteins Sue
Michael and Melita Feinstein have now taken their Stake Bank fight overseas, straight to London’s High Court. The couple has filed a lawsuit in the Commercial Court against Honduran national Guillermo Bueso Anduray, accusing him of using his influence over Atlantic Bank to derail their multimillion‑dollar cruise port project. According to the Feinsteins, Bueso orchestrated breaches of fiduciary duty, seized financial control, and even pushed for the wrongful appointment of a receiver, moves they say cost them their shares and ultimately forced them out of the Stake Bank development. Atlantic Bank has denied those allegations in the past. Today, we asked Prime Minister John Briceño for his reaction as this high‑stakes legal battle continues.

“I am only aware of what I saw in the press. As Mr. Feinstein it’s a private transaction and so as such, he feels that if he may need to go to London to take out there, then that is up to him. It’s his right as a citizen to be able to take out or do whatever it is, as long as he’s acting within the law.”
