Succotz Youths Train in Fire Safety

Twenty-five young people participated in a fire safety training initiative organised through a collaboration between the San Jose Succotz village chairman and the Benque Viejo Fire Department.

The training, titled Fire Safety Tips and Hose Familiarisation, introduced the young participants to basic fire safety practices and ways to respond to fire emergencies.

Among participants were 13 students from Alvin Young High School, accompanied by their teacher. Firefighters Newton Lennan, Benito Requena, and Windell Pook facilitated the training.

The initiative aims to improve fire safety awareness among young people and villagers while encouraging greater community preparedness for emergencies.
