Teen Nabbed After Armed Robbery in Bella Vista
Police in Bella Vista have cracked a bold daylight robbery that played out just days ago. Nineteen-year-old Angel Miguel Pineda, an electrician from the village, is now behind bars after investigators linked him to Sunday’s heist at Zhun Hung Store. According to police, two men walked in, one armed, and made off with five hundred dollars and a cellphone. Tonight, authorities say they’ve got one suspect in custody, but the hunt is still on for his alleged accomplice.

“On Monday, October 20th, 2025, police formally arrested and charged Angel Miguel Pineda, a nineteen-year-old Belizean electrician of Bella Vista Village for the crime of robbery and the offence of kept firearm without a gun license and kept ammunition without a gun license. Pineda’s arrest follows a police investigation into the robbery of Zhun Hung Store which is located on Savannah Road in Bella Vista Village. This robbery incident occurred on October 19th, 2025 sometime after eleven a.m. where the merchant reported that two male persons, one of whom was armed with a weapon, entered the establishment and stole a total of five hundred dollars and a cellphone from him. The investigators have identified another person of interest and he is now being sought by police.”
