Thief Flees with Cash After Armed Hold-Up Near Belize Bank

What was supposed to be a routine bank drop-off on Regent Street turned into a bold daylight heist on Friday. Traffic warden Carlos Abraham told police he was on his way to deposit cash at Belize Bank when a gunman swooped in, pointed a firearm at him, and snatched the bag of money before sprinting off into the city. Investigators are now reviewing surveillance footage from the area as they work to track down the thief, but for now, the amount stolen, and the identity of the robber, remains unknown.
