Two Dead, Three Injured in Deadly George Price Highway Crash

Police are investigating a tragic crash on the George Price Highway that claimed the lives of two Mexican nationals late Thursday night near mile 13.

According to reports, a white pickup travelling toward Belmopan rear-ended a trailer, pushing it into another vehicle coming from Belize City. Two people trapped inside the second vehicle did not survive, despite emergency crews’ efforts to free them.

Three others in the pickup, a woman and two children, including an eight-month-old baby, were hospitalised and are recovering. The driver has given a statement to Hattieville police.
