Two Detained After Fisherman Gets Shot While Entering His Yard 

San Pedro police have detained two people after a fisherman was shot multiple times outside his own home early Sunday morning.

Surveillance footage shows twenty-six-year-old John Hernandez was entering his yard shortly before 4 a.m. on August 16 when two men on a motorcycle are seen approaching in front of his residence. 

One of the men is seen getting off the bike, running toward Hernandez and opening fire.

Hernandez suffered gunshot injuries to his body and was rushed to the San Pedro Polyclinic. He was later flown to Belize City and admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for further treatment. He is now listed in stable condition, according to police.
