Two Killed in Pomona Motorcycle Shooting

Police are investigating a suspected motorcycle shooting attack in Pomona Village that has left two men dead.

Authorities confirmed that Luke Chavarria and Zion Samuels were shot and later pronounced dead at the Southern Regional Hospital.

Police said officers were alerted to the incident and responded to a home belonging to local resident Hilbert “Soap” Smith.

Police recovered 12 expended shells.

No arrests have been made.

A separate motorcycle shooting incident happened in the same Stann Creek District a couple hours before, where Nine people socialising at Timmy’s Bar in Mange Creek were shot and injured. The suspects also escaped on motorcycles.
