Two More Charged in Ladyville Murder

Police have arrested and charged two additional suspects in connection with the murder of Elroy Edward Bainton, which occurred in late January in the Belize District.

Izaiah Nigel Beeks and Camryn Lozano were formally arrested and jointly charged with the crime of murder.

The two men now join twenty-one-year-old Caryl Paul Rodas, a construction worker of Burrell Boom, who had earlier been charged in the case.

Bainton was one of two men fatally shot on Sunday evening, January 25, 2026, in Ladyville. Investigators have said the killings were believed to be connected and were likely fueled by an internal drug-related dispute.

According to police, Bainton was targeted outside the Jew Apartment Complex on Yellow Tail Street, where he was shot multiple times. He was later transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
