Two Officers Shot At in Belize City After Majestic Alley Murder  

And, just five minutes after that deadly shooting in Majestic Alley, two police officers came under gunfire on Police Street in Belize City. Reports are that Corporal Elvis Guzman and Detective Constable Christian Reyes were patrolling the area when they heard gunshots. The gunshots they heard came from a black Chevy Equinox. An occupant of the vehicle took aim at twenty-six-year-old Ryan Young Junior, while he was on Police Street. Young was hit multiple times and rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. In the immediate aftermath of that incident officers Guzman and Reyes pursued the Equinox down Police Street.  Two male persons fired several shots at the police vehicle from inside the Chevy Equinox. Corporal Guzman was hit in the arm. He was also transported to the KHMH for treatment. No suspects have been identified in that shooting.
