“What you’re seeing here is a very generous collection from Miss Jennifer. Jenny Lovell, she was one of our educators here at the university, and she was responsible for helping a lot of our students transition, pursue their master’s program in counseling and she also taught counseling and advanced counseling here at the university. But she was a great part of the institution, and she has been with us for so long. And as part of Women’s Month, after her son donated these books to us, we said, we had to let them out, we had to have people access them. We have them available. We have them on display. It’s a lot of books. So it covers a wide variety of different subject matters. Mostly, with looking at women’s issues, women’s health, psychology, counseling, about healthy living, healthy eating about, also about drug addiction, that was what Ms. Jenny was known for. She was a mental health professional. She was a part of that faculty. We are glad to showcase this collection with the general public. It will be open as long as the university is open. It’s regular time, eight to five o’clock. You all could come down and visit this collection.”
