Wet Weather to Linger Over Belize Through Friday
Moist and unstable conditions will continue to influence Belize’s weather over the next two days, bringing more rain and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
The National Meteorological Service reports that skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast today, with light to moderate rain and periods of heavy showers, especially across northern areas this morning. Rainfall is expected to pick up again this afternoon and tonight over northern and central regions, where isolated thunderstorms could develop.
Looking ahead to Friday and Friday night, skies will remain mostly cloudy, with periods of rain, scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms forecast for much of the country, again concentrated in the north and central zones.
Despite the wet spell, the tropical outlook remains calm. The North Atlantic is expected to stay quiet for the coming days, with no tropical cyclones threatening Belize or its coastal waters.
