Woman Killed in Motorcycle Collision Near Bella Vista

Thirty-nine-year-old Tatiana Alvarado died on Saturday afternoon after the motorcycle she was riding collided with an SUV along the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway in southern Belize.

The crash occurred near Bella Vista Village, between Miles 44 and 45. Police said 26-year-old Daunte Oliver Eden Noralez of Belmopan was driving a Ford Escape toward Punta Gorda when he attempted to overtake a Lifan 150 motorcycle travelling in the same direction.

Police said her motorcycle was found engulfed in flames upon their arrival at the scene.
