She described the win as a blessing that will help her improve her home and enjoy the holidays. “Yes, I am so happy. This is a blessing from God, because He helped me get this. And after all that scratching, his blessing has reached me. I will be spending it really happy this Christmas,” she told News 5.

“I felt so happy and excited. It was a lot of scratching, and I never won until today. I am so grateful to God,” she added. “All the money during the year wasn’t enough to put into the house. So I am going to go and paint my house, so I am so happy for that.”
