Young Father Dies in Violent Car Crash

Late Monday night’s fatal crash in San Ignacio claimed the life of José “Poste” Bautista (Riveira). His death left behind a grieving young family and a community in mourning.

“You left me alone with the baby… I have no words,” his wife said in an online statement.

Family and friends have also taken to social media to express their grief. Bautista was a well-known figure in the football community. He is being remembered as a kind and humble individual and a loving father to his young daughter.

“We grew up sharing moments, laughter, and memories that I will always carry in my heart,” one friend said online.

Video footage of the accident showed a grey Toyota Camry badly damaged, with the front completely crushed.

The footage also revealed wet road conditions, with many suggesting online that the weather may have contributed to the incident. Another community member stated that the location where the accident happened “needs bumps with proper signs and well-highlighted paint on these bumps.”

Bautista died at the scene following the collision in the Kontiki area. Police is expected to update the media today about this incident.
