1 Dead, 3 Injured in Taylor’s Alley Shooting

Police are seeking a black Chevrolet believed to have been used in a shooting on Taylor’s Alley in Belize City on Saturday night that left one man dead and three others injured.

The deceased was identified as 31-year-old Charles Nolberto. The three injured men were identified as 29-year-old Charles Middleton, 32-year-old Cesario Choco and 43-year-old Clifford Olivera. They were reported to be in stable condition.

“At approximately 7:10 p.m., four male persons were socialising when a black Chevy stopped in front of them and an individual from inside the vehicle fired upon the group,” said ASP Stacy Smith.

According to Smith, the shooting was the result of rivalry between opposing gangs. Police are continuing their investigation.
