The ceremony, part of this year’s Public Service Week, brought together senior officials, families, and colleagues to salute decades of commitment and hard work. Officials say these long-serving workers have helped shape public institutions and deliver essential services through times of change and challenge. Minister of the Public Service Henry Charles Usher praised their dedication, describing public officers as the backbone of government and key to driving progress, innovation, and better service for all Belizeans.
