Third Time’s the Charm: Orange Walk Woman Lands a $15K Pay Day

An Orange Walk woman scratched her first ticket at the counter and got nothing. The second only handed back three dollars. It was the third that changed everything.

“When I scratched this one I looked at it two times asking myself if it is true or not,” she said. “So, I went and asked someone else to check it and confirm it, and they told me yes.”

The winner said buying Scratch & Win tickets has become part of her routine, and encourages anyone on the fence about trying their luck.

As for what’s next, she is still working that out. “Up to now, I don’t have no idea,” she said, adding she is still processing the weekend’s win.
