Heavy Machinery Accident Claims Bulridge Worker’s Life

Forty-nine-year-old Mauricio Soriano reportedly saw the danger and tried to run, but he could not escape the equipment failure that claimed his life. The Bulridge employee died last Thursday after a chain allegedly broke free from a truck carrying heavy machinery. Tonight, his San Ignacio family is grieving and searching for answers about what went wrong. A relative described the incident to News Five as a freak accident.

“There is many issues they are saying and we need to know what happened, because he was going on the truck and then we are hearing the chain, on top of the truck they were taking some machinery, and the chain that had the machine side up burst and before it turned over he jumped through the window according to what we are hearing and we need to know exactly what happened. He jumped out and the chain of the machinery that was tied up burst and he already jumped out and the machinery fell on top of him. But we have not gotten anything from the police yet but this is from Thursday. We just want to know when they will do the postmortem. We just brought my sister form the hospital because she is having lone panic attacks. She wants to have this over. At the same time, we want to know what really happened.”

 

We reached out to Bulridge for comments and up to news time but have been unable to get a response as of news time.
