Ack Brothers Bring Free School Supplies to Toledo
A generous act of kindness is making a big difference for children in some of Toledo’s most remote communities. Businessman Samuel Ack along with his brother Martin Ack took it upon themselves to provide much needed school supplies to young students ahead of the new school year. The siblings donated one hundred and fifty school bags distributing them across six villages twenty-five bags for each community, including Graham Creek, Machakil Ha, San Lucas, Dolores, Otoxha and Mabil Ha. Their goal is to inspire hope and support education in areas where resources are often limited. The response from families and children has been overwhelmingly positive.
On The Phone: Samuel Ack, Donor
“What inspired me to share the school bags to the children Toledo you know right the children in Toledo the children in the Toledo District were the last one to, efforts like this we see a lot of things going on in the city and the I want to make sure the children in the remote villages enjoy the love I want them to feel the love to. So a total of one hundred and fifty school bags with some school supplies the basic school supplies exercise book basic stuff pencil eraser sharpener and stuff like that. The smiles on the children’s face says a lot and the parents were like appreciated the effort honestly their first question was you know under which political party like you know I was doing this but the answer to this is this is no kind of political party or this is no kind of you know this is not done by any politicians or anything like that neither a missionary thing this is coming from the bottom of my heart me and my brother.”
