The incident involved Jose Manuel Velasquez, a local barber, who was approached by a known male individual around six in the morning. During the encounter, the man allegedly fired shots in Velasquez’s direction, striking him. Velasquez was rushed to the San Pedro Polyclinic, where doctors report he is in stable condition. Police have since secured the area and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as they work to determine what led to the attack.
