Vicious Stabbing on Rivero Street Leaves One Man Dead
A violent confrontation on Rivero Street in Belize City turned deadly Sunday night. Thirty-four-year-old Keyon Cleland was stabbed during a dispute with store owner Dennis Andrews and later died at the KHMH. Andrews, now in police custody, claims he was attacked first and acted in self-defense when he pulled a knife. ACP Hilberto Romero says investigators are working to untangle the conflicting accounts, and the file is heading to the DPP to decide whether Andrews will face criminal charges.
