High-Powered Rifle Among Weapons Seized in Countrywide Police Blitz
It’s a coordinated crackdown and police are not retreating in the fight against guns and drugs. In a series of targeted operations across multiple districts, law enforcement units moved in with precision, teaming up with local formations to hit key locations. Over several days, those efforts paid off, officers pulled illegal firearms off the streets, seizing pistols, revolvers, and even a high-powered rifle. The operation marks a significant push by police to tighten their grip on rising crime, as they ramp up visibility and enforcement nationwide. ASP Stacy Smith has more on how the operation unfolded and what police say comes next.
