Nationwide Search Intensifies for Missing Man Needing Care

A family’s urgent search is stretching across the country tonight, as they race to find thirty-year-old Richard Phillip Cherrington, a man they say desperately needs medical care. Cherrington, who recently relocated from La Democracia to Mullins River, has been missing since May twenty-first. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, his loved ones say time is critical and every sighting matters. In recent days, he’s been spotted along the Coastal Highway, in Hope Creek, Roaring Creek, and even in Belmopan as recently as Friday. But each time, attempts to reach him have fallen short, he’s constantly on the move. Described as about five feet five inches tall, medium build, dark complexion, with a low haircut and a “Pamela” tattoo on his right arm, Cherrington may be avoiding contact, but his family isn’t giving up. They’re now turning to the public, asking anyone who sees him not to ignore it. Instead, contact police or call or text 608-9890, 668-7733, or 602-4452. Tonight, they’re holding on to hope that someone, somewhere, can help bring him home.
