“Police are investigating a road traffic accident which resulted in the death of eighteen-year-old Eutomito Pech. The investigation commenced at around nine forty-two PM on Friday, fifth June twenty twenty-six, when police in Guinea Grass were alerted of the occurrence of a traffic accident near the outskirts of that village. What we have learned so far in the course of the investigation is that Pech was traveling on the highway in the direction of Guinea Grass Village when he collided into the rear of a horse-drawn buggy that was on the far right side of the road. This collision caused Mr. Pitch to swerve into oncoming traffic, where he further collided into a SUV that was being driven at the time by one Mr. Garcia. A notice has of intended prosecution has since been served on Mr. Garcia and urine samples taken. The collision resulted in the death of Mr. Pech. Police investigation continues.”
Police say the initial investigation revealed the horse and carriage may not have been fully on the road and are still examining the lighting conditions of the buggy.
