GBM Leads Region with Record 93 CBU Award Nominations

Greater Belize Media, parent company of News Five, is leading the region with a record ninety-three nominations for the Thirty-seventh Caribbean Broadcasting Union Media Awards, the highest of any broadcaster this year. GBM dominates across major TV categories, from news and documentaries to investigative, sports, and entertainment, while also sweeping all child rights categories. The organization also earned nods in digital, radio, and People’s Choice awards, capping a strong showing across the board. Winners will be announced August nineteenth, in Guyana, as regional media leaders gather to spotlight excellence, and tackle the growing impact of AI on journalism.
