BNTU Makes Historic Debut at Regional Conference
This week marked a historical moment for the Belize National Teacher Union after a fifteen-member delegation travelled to Saint Maarten to participate in the Caribbean Union of Teachers Biennial Conference. This conference is a major event held every two years for educators in the Caribbean region focusing on various aspects of education, teacher development, and unionism. Throughout the event, the BNTU will participate in a range of sessions designed to enhance both personal growth and professional development. In a post shared on the union’s social media, the BNTU said that this milestone reflects their continued commitment to building capacity, empowering its members, and cultivating a strong pipeline of future leaders within the organization.
