BTL CEO Ivan Tesucum Placed on 10-Day Leave

There’s a major development at Belize Telemedia Limited. The company has confirmed that its CEO, Ivan Tesucum, is on a ten-day leave following an internal disciplinary process. In a bulletin to employees today, BTL explained that its Board of Directors reviewed a complaint against Tesucum. A disciplinary committee heard evidence from both sides and concluded that the complaint was not legally established. But the Board says a related matter did warrant action. After considering Tesucum’s response and ensuring due process, the decision was made to place him on leave, effective immediately. He’s expected back on the job November fourteenth. Both parties have been officially notified, and for now, the company moves forward under interim leadership.
