Crystal Meth, Crack, Cocaine in San Pedro Busts
Four San Pedro residents have been charged with drug offences following two separate police operations that resulted in the seizure of suspected crystal methamphetamine, cannabis, cocaine and crack cocaine.
ASP Stacy Smith reported during this afternoon’s police briefing that 24-year-old Marcos Tun of San Pedro Town was formally arrested and charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another. Tun’s arrest followed an anti-drug operation that led to the discovery of a manila envelope inside his backpack containing suspected crystal methamphetamine.
The search “resulted in the discovery of a manila envelope that was inside his backpack and inside that manila envelope was suspected crystal methamphetamine,” said ASP Smith. The suspected drug weighed a total of 932 grams, according to police.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation, San Pedro police jointly charged 26-year-old Benedicto Bull, 26-year-old Horace Anthony Crawford and 24-year-old Bridget Alcoser, all of San Pedro Town, with three counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
Police said the charges stem from a search conducted at a residence in the Boca del Rio area of San Pedro on Friday. “This search led to the discovery of 1,312 grams of suspected cannabis, 21 grams of suspected cocaine, and 28 grams of suspected crack cocaine,” ASP Smith confirmed.
