“Dream It, Explore It, Become It” Comes Alive for Eden High Students
Eden High School buzzed with excitement on Wednesday as students traded their usual classes for a hands‑on look at real career options. Greater Belize Media joined more than two dozen businesses and organizations for a lively Career Day that sparked new ambitions. Under the theme “Dream It, Explore It, Become It,” students moved from booth to booth, learning what it really takes to enter fields like journalism, policing, tailoring, and pastoral ministry. Each stop offered practical insight and real conversations that helped students picture their future. News Five’s Paul Lopez brings the highlights in tonight’s Belize on Reel.

And the learning didn’t stop at the Q&A. Students also got their moment in the spotlight with a mock live broadcast intro. Many of them stepped up to the mic with surprising confidence, showing off raw, natural talent that could easily grow into the real thing.
“Good afternoon my name is Princella Mai and I am reporting to you live. From Eden High School in Santa Elena Town. The theme for today is Dream It, Explore It, Become It. I dream of becoming a doctor one day. I am reporting for Eden High School I am Jeniffer Humes.”
As the day wrapped up, it was clear that the impact stretched far beyond presentations. Students left the event inspired. Reporting for News Five, I am Paul Lopez.
