Miss World Belize, Faith Edgar, has secured a place for Belize in the Top 40 at the 2026 Miss World competition after winning the Beauty With a Purpose challenge for the Americas and Caribbean region.

The announcement was made during the Miss World final in Nha Trang, Vietnam, this weekend, where Joheirry Mola of the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026, marking another strong showing for Belize on the international pageant stage.

Edgar’s Beauty With a Purpose project, Smiles for Belize, focuses on improving access to dental care and oral-health education for children and families in underserved communities across Belize.

Her achievement also marks the second time Belize has placed in the Top 40 in the last three editions of Miss World. She follows Elise-Gayonne Vernon, who placed in the Top 40 at the 2023 Miss World competition.
