Heatwave Break: The Rains Are Coming!

After days of sweltering heat, Belize is finally getting a weather shift, and it is bringing storms with it.

The Belize Meteorological Service reports that a moist and unstable easterly airflow has moved in. Residents in central and northern Belize should expect scattered showers and thunderstorms this evening.

While the rest of the country sees mostly isolated shower activity, southern districts can expect more frequent showers and thunderstorms to persist from today through Thursday.
