Island Supermarket Offers $25,000 Reward For ‘Reliable Information’ in Arson Case
The owner of Island Supermarket in San Pedro is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of those who broke into and set fire to the store early Sunday morning.
The supermarket, which had been operating for only three days, was targeted between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. Reports say the perpetrators broke into the store, filled a shopping cart, set it ablaze, and pushed it into a shelf before fleeing. Nothing was reported stolen.
Management says anyone who can provide reliable information will remain “completely anonymous”. “Your name will not be shared with anyone, as your safety and security are extremely important to us—just as important as our own lives,” they stated.
