Man Charged in Fatal Crash That Killed Auria Ramos
Police have now made an arrest in connection with last week’s fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of forty-nine-year-old Auria Ramos of Bullet Tree Falls Village. Ramos died on May twenty-second after the motorcycle she was riding on veered off the road in Santa Familia, Cayo. She suffered serious injuries and later succumbed while receiving treatment. Today, authorities confirmed that thirty-three-year-old Melvin Quikshan, also of Bullet Tree Falls, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct. He also faces charges for driving without due care and attention and failing to provide a specimen.

“As a result of the ongoing investigation into the traffic accident which claimed the life of forty-nine-year-old Auria Ramos of Bullet Tree Falls Village, which occurred on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, police have formally arrested and charged thirty-three-year-old Melvin Quikshan of Bullet Tree Falls Village for the crimes of manslaughter by negligence and causing death by careless conduct, as well as the offenses of drove motor vehicle without due care and attention and failing to provide a specimen.”
The charges come after an ongoing investigation into the crash, where police say the driver lost control of the motorcycle.
