Man Dies After Reported Knife Accident; Police Investigate

A quiet Saturday in Progresso Village turned tragic when twenty-three-year-old Pablo Bol lost his life in what’s being described as a freak accident. According to police, Bol was preparing meat for a barbecue when he reportedly stabbed himself with a knife, a wound that proved fatal. He was rushed to the San Ignacio Hospital, but sadly, was pronounced dead on arrival. Two people who were at the house say it was an accident, but investigators aren’t ruling anything out just yet. A post-mortem is on the way, and police are looking closely at all the details to determine whether foul play may have been involved.

“On Saturday the sixteenth of august 2025 police responded to a report at a San Ignacio Hospital upon the arrival they saw the lifeless body of Pablo Bol twenty three years with a stab wound to the left side of his abdomen investigations reveal that Bol was at home along with his common law wife Silva Chanek when he stumbled and he fell the knife caused his injury we are conducting a thorough investigation on this report we are waiting a post mortem examination.”
