Man Thrown Out of Bar, Ends Up Stabbed
Twenty-year-old construction worker Frank Batres is recovering at the Western Regional Hospital after he was stabbed just after midnight on Saturday in Valley of Peace Village, Cayo.
According to police reports, Batres was socialising with friends at a local bar when he “behaved inappropriately toward a female”. He was then ejected from the establishment by the owner of the bar.
Bandres reported to the police that as he was leaving the establishment, a known male approached him, punched him to the ground, and stabbed him in the back.
Police were alerted Monday morning after Batres sought treatment at the Western Regional Hospital.
