Owner’s Son Wounded During Pawn Shop Hold-Up

Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred just before midday on Handyside Street. Reports are that gunmen targeted Handy Side Loans and Pawn Shop located on the said street. Information provided to News Five is that the owner’s son was shot during the incident. His injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. Blood stains remained on the concrete walkway Infront of the business, in the aftermath of the incident. Police are yet to issue an official report.  We will continue to follow.
