Police And BDF Involved in Lemonal Chopping/Shooting
A late-night gathering in Lemonal Village quickly spiraled into violence, leaving both a police officer and a BDF soldier hospitalized. Investigators say what started as an argument at a repast shortly after midnight escalated into a dangerous confrontation between Police Constable Pharon Muslar and Lance Corporal Alexander Reynolds. By the time it was over, Muslar had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, while Reynolds was left with a severe chop injury to the head. Now, authorities are trying to piece together exactly what went wrong, and there’s already confusion over a key detail: the firearm involved. Police say it was a nine-millimeter pistol linked to Reynolds, but the BDF’s internal probe points instead to a .38 revolver registered to a woman. As both men recover in hospital, investigators are working to determine how the clash turned so violent and whether criminal charges will follow.
