San Juan Man Charged for Elias Bejerano’s Murder

Police have arrested and charged a thirty‑seven‑year‑old Nicaraguan laborer from San Juan Village for murder. Investigators say Raul Sergio Flores is the man behind Sunday night’s brutal killing of Elias Bejerano. As we reported, Bejerano was walking home from a bar when Sergio allegedly ambushed him with a machete, delivering the fatal blows. And tonight, authorities believe that wasn’t his only violent act, they suspect Sergio also tried to rob a woman shortly before the deadly attack.
