‘They Take My Baby Brother From Me’: Brother Demands Justice After Crash

The family of Allan Arnold is demanding answers after he became one of three people killed in a deadly motorcycle crash on Mahogany Street in Belize City early Sunday morning.

Arnold’s older brother, whose name is also Allan Arnold Jr., says the family is struggling to process the loss, especially after the death of another sibling two years ago.

He said he received the news after a relative from the US reached out to him. According to Allan, he had spent time with Arnold just a day before the crash.

Despite being a motorcycle enthusiast, Allan said his brother was known to be a careful rider who steered clear of alcohol and motorcycle stunts. “He has no drink. He’s a loving, funny guy,” he added.

The crash occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning and involved at least two motorcycles. Arnold and Darwin Monroy died shortly after the collision, while a third victim later succumbed at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Arnold’s family now wants the circumstances fully investigated.

“I do hope they find out the truth… I want to really do the investigation good,” Allan said. “They take my little brother from me. And that’s my baby brother they take away.”
