Unidentified Decomposed Body Found Behind Port of Belize

The police department has released information on the body found earlier today behind the Port of Belize in the Old Capital.

Officers observed the decomposed remains of an unidentified man dressed in a black T-shirt, khaki pants, and black-and-white Nike tennis shoes.

The deceased, currently listed as John Doe, was transported to the Belize National Forensic Services Laboratory morgue, where a post-mortem examination is pending to determine the cause of death.

Police say investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
