Chad Borland Killed in Belmopan Crash
A passenger survived with minor injuries, but the driver did not, after a vehicle careened off the road and overturned in Belmopan. Police found the Mazda in the bushes near the La Cabana area on Thursday, along with the body of Belmopan resident Chad Borland. Investigators say Borland apparently lost control of the vehicle before the fatal crash.

“On Thursday, police responded to a fatal road traffic accident in Belmopan, near the La Cabana area. Upon their arrival, they saw that a Mazda vehicle was overturned in the bushes and the lifeless body of a male person was found in the area. He was identified as Chad Borland of Belmopan. Information was that Borland was driving the vehicle when he lost control. Another person was along with him but he received minor injuries.”
