“Random Shopping” Turns Into a $20,000 Scratch and Win Prize

A quick trip to Twin Super Market turned into a $20,000 payday for one Scratch and Win player.

“I just did a random shopping at Twin Super Market, and I decided to just pick up two tickets,” she said. 

She bought the winning ticket last week but didn’t scratch it until Sunday. “I had it there, said, let me just scratch it and see if I won anything, and surprisingly, I did,” she added. 

She said spotting the win took a second look. “I saw the 10 times 1,000 two times. I had to triple-look at it to make sure. I felt excited. I’m still shocked, but it’s a good feeling.”

She hasn’t settled on plans for the winnings yet, though a getaway is on her mind. “A vacation maybe, a mini vacation, a weekend getaway, and we’ll see where we go from there,” she said. “I don’t have any plans at the moment.” 

Her advice to those sitting on the fence about buying scratch and win is: “It’s real. Give it a try. I did, and look at me now. I won.”
