School Bus Carrying Dozens of Students Involved in Crash

A school bus transporting students of Julian Cho Technical High School was involved in a traffic accident on Monday, June 1, 2026, just outside Pueblo Viejo Village in the Toledo District.

The Ministry of Education confirmed that about 32 students were on board at the time of the incident, including students from Toledo ITVET.

Four students sustained minor injuries and were taken to the San Antonio Polyclinic for treatment. The remaining students were transferred safely to another bus.

“The Ministry is grateful that no serious injuries have been reported and extends its support to the students, families, and school community,” MoECST said in a statement.

An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the accident.
