“His Loss Leaves an Immeasurable Void”: 55-Year-Old Dies in Motorcycle Crash

Fifty-five-year-old Aurelio “Jack” Bonell is dead following a motorcycle collision along the Cristo Rey Road in the Cayo District on Saturday.

Head of the National Crimes Investigation Branch, ACP Hilberto Romero, said police responded to the scene and found two damaged motorcycles and three injured persons.

“The information is that motorcycles were travelling in the opposite direction where they collided. As a result, Aurelio Bonell succumbed to his injuries,” Romero said.

The two other individuals, Kevin Miranda and Kristali Miranda, sustained injuries and remain in stable condition.

Bonell’s family paid tribute to him in a social media post, describing him as “a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and dear friend whose kindness, warmth, and presence touched the lives of many.”

“His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him,” the family added.

Romero said an investigation is underway to determine whether any charges will be filed.
